The house was a wonderful house, but the family had built the home in the 50's, and it was unique and in a prime location, but had very challenging elements to its sale. Cottie took this challenging situation, and found a buyer who had the vision to see how special the house and property were, but it took great effort on Cottie's part to find a buyer who had that vision. Moreover, in connection with the closing, Cottie arranged for an individual who owned a local antiques shop and consignment firm, to come in and clear out the decades-worth of personal property that was in the house that the family was not keeping, for consignment, and that person was a great resource (thanks to Cottie) who also surfaced items that the family had missed seeing, but that she thought they would want to retain. Cottie also arranged for the cleaning and delivery of the property broom-clean, which was crucial due to the timing, when family members (and I) were in other parts of the United States. I am extremely grateful to Cottie for having gotten the property sold, and also for having assisted so valiantly in getting it in closing-ready condition for the buyers.
